April's sleeping beauty

What would you do if you had an exam after 30 minutes and you have zero preparation? If you arranged the night before exam to have all your friends at your home to get prepared by group study and slept all night without doing so, though your friends were not sleepy? If they didn't sleep for a second and studied and tried to wake you up in each 15 minute to get you some studies? If all of your friends couldn't leave for the exam, just because they couldn't awaken you and didn't want to leave without you.


One thing is sure you didn't have a sound sleep that night. So then, after the night, on the exam day, if your caught in the middle of a traffic jam (because you ware late) just 30 minutes before the exam, which would last for at least 1 hour, how could you pass this time in the jam efficiently? Definitely you'd try to sleep in the bus, in a position, just as this guy is sleeping.



You should try it. Because, this is the best way (until anyone finds any other) to pass the time after all these.

1. When he reached the campus, the exam was over and above all, he was still sleepy.
2. If someone could find, what he had before all these, please contact me. (His friends haven't yet uncovered the reason behind this sleepy behavior, for which all of them were late for the exam).

জেনারেশন এ পরিবর্তন আসে অবশ্যম্ভাবী হয়ে। এর কোন ব্যতিক্রম নাই। কেউ চাক বা না চাক এই প্রক্রিয়া চলবেই। ভাল লাগুক বা মন্দ লাগুক কেউ সময় কে থামাতে পারবে না। এর মধ্যে বিতর্ক এসে যায় ভাল পরিবর্তন আর মূল্যবোধের নিম্নগামীতা নিয়ে। কিন্তু আমি সেসব নিয়েও কথা বলছি না। আমি বলছি কারণ যুগে যুগে সব মানুষের অপ্ত বাক্য ‘ দুনিয়াটা রসাতলে গেল ’। আমার দাদা আমার দাদী কে ভীষণ ভালোবাসতেন এবং তার মৃত্যুশোকে সন্ন্যাসী হন। তিনি তখন অবশ্য ছিলেন যুব-সমাজ রসাতলে যাবার অন্যতম উদাহরণ। এখন অবিশ্বাস্য লাগতেই পারে কিন্তু তখন কেউ তাকে ছেড়ে কথা বলেনি। আমার বাবা রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত এর ভীষণ ভক্ত ছিল কিন্তু তার সময় এটা ছিল সঙ্গীত এর নামে অশ্লীলতা। আব্বুকেও সিনেমা হলে সিনেমা দেখাতে যাবার জন্য অসংখ্যবার শুনতে হয়েছে যুব-সমাজ রসাতলে গেল। এসব সিনেমা কে এখন আমরা আর্ট পিস এর সম্মান দেই। এখন সবার গা-জ্বালা করা একটা সর্বনাম হল ডিজুস জেনারেশন বা আধুনিক ইয়ো পোলাপান। সবার মত অনুযায়ী তাদের কোন শেকড়ই নাই এবং এরা অন্ধভাবে পশ্চিমা সভ্যতা অনুকরণ ও অনুসরণ করে। কিন্তু সময় যখন সব বদলায় তখন সময় এর সাথে যুদ্ধ করা; আমি ঠিক কিন্...

Do you know what VHDL is? It stands for 'VHSIC HDL'. Which stands for ‘Very High-speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language’. As the name says, this is used to design and describe digital circuits (very complex) in a easy way. Our university's engineering curriculum has an elective course named - 'VHDL Modeling & Logic Synthesis'. Well it's considered as one of the toughest courses. All the students hesitates when taking this course. But I can assure you that there is a teacher who makes the course a piece of cake. But you know, there is no guarantee that you'd have him on your course. What should you do then. No problem. All you have to do is to go to road No. 21, Bloc-B, Banani, in front of house No. 76, 78 (which is another university.). Then you should find a little guy. Let the divine hand solve your problems...

We had been under British colonial rulings for 200 years. Then we had been under Pakistani dictatorship. We had fought for establishing our mother language, Bangla as the official language of our country while under Pakistani rulings. The effect of all these is, we have a 12 year schooling on which we have English as our subject. After that, for higher education, most of the universities use English medium. And the ability to speak in English is taken as a measure of how smart a person is. Though I can't find how not speaking own language can be taken as smartness. But that's another story. Despite all these, we don't use English anywhere in our everyday activities. And I think except some rootless junks of the society, deep down ourselves, each of us have an unwillingness to learn the language.
